Our journey as ġummar started with an attempt to source apparel for the Maltese market that was not made in sweatshops.

That search led us to Earth Positive® — audited by the Fair Wear Foundation for garment workers’ rights and holding their highest “Leader” status for ethical manufacturing. Earth Positive offers world-leading environmental credentials, a living wage programme for garment workers, and comfortable, 100% organic cotton fabric, all wrapped in a forward-looking outlook.

For us, that combination wasn’t a marketing angle — it became a daily principle. Our values are woven into everything we offer, quite literally worn on the sleeve. We’ve been bringing that option to the Maltese market for more than a decade.
